About

About

Central District Brewing is downtown Austin's smallest brewery, tucked at the base of a parking garage at 5th and Red River. Opened in 2019, they won a GABF gold medal on their very first batch — the Wit-tington Belgian Wit. The community-focused taproom pours Belgian-inspired and American craft styles alongside soft pretzels, local empanadas, wine, and cider. Dogs welcome on the sidewalk patio; live music is a regular feature.
